For the vast majority of my clients, counseling is a novel experience! I hope the answers to some commonly asked questions help you on your journey.

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE?

I offer individual counseling for ages 14+, couples, and family counseling services. Although I work with a wide variety of individuals, my specialty resides in working with those in the medical profession, physicians, nurses, advanced practitioners, attorneys, law enforcement, first responders, and licensed mental health providers.  I work effectively with individuals who want to create balance with work/life and prevent compassion fatigue. I use several therapeutic approaches to treat the whole person and meet my clients where they are to assist them in slowing down and refocusing on their priorities. I consider this a therapeutic  partnership to promote your healing journey. We’re in this together!

I also hold LCMHCS and CCS licenses and offer clinical supervision to individuals wishing to acquire their LCMHC license and their LCAS license in the state of North Carolina.


WHEN ARE YOUR AVAILABLE TIMES FOR APPOINTMENTS? HOW CAN I REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT?

I provide sessions by appointment only. My hours are typically 8:30am-1:00pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Hours may vary. To request an appointment go to “Contact Me” or

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE? DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

Appointment session rates vary based on the service offered, thus I don’t include them here. Sessions normally range in price from $140 to $220, depending on the service and length of time necessary.

We accept Blue Cross and Blue Shield, BCBSNC State Health Plan, and Medcost insurances.  Self-pay is also accepted.  

I would gladly provide Superbills if you have supplemental insurance for you to submit.


WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Cancellations must be made within 48 business day hours. If the cancellation is not made within 48 business day hours, the entire session will be charged to the card on file.  I may send you text and/or email appointment reminders as requested, but I encourage all my patients to also keep track of their appointments as well as it is your responsibility to know when your appointment is.
